Answers In Genesis – Listen to Ken Ham’s Sermon Audio Series Free

Ken Ham, founder of the Creation Museum and Answers In Genesis, has a popular sermonaudio series on Sermon Companion that many people around the world stream, download and share with their friends online.

Ken Ham spoke at Berean Baptist Church with Pastor Robert L. Dickie back in May of 2009 at a packed out Answers in Genesis Conference. You can read more about Ken’s comments and thoughts about this conference at his blog here.

Ken is one of the most in-demand speakers around the country and it is a blessing to be able to have his sermons featured here at Sermon Companion. Here are the titles of the four sermons that he gave at Berean Baptist Church:

“The Relevance of Genesis in Today’s World”

“The Loss of Biblical Authority…”

“Defending the Christian Faith”

“How To Reach the Secularized World…”

You can listen to these sermon audio messages online here. Feel free to download these and share them with as many people as you would like. We have some social media tools available under the actual sermon player or beneath this blog post so that you can easily share this with your friends on Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites.

May God bless you richly!!

Pastor’s Using Social Media Within Their Church to Expand Their Outreach

Many Pastor’s are taking advantage of the new Social Media outlets that exist today in order to reach a larger audience and to expand their reach online. With today’s tools and technologies, Pastor’s can easily be heard across the globe as listeners and readers can tap into their sermons and blog posts online. Sermon Companion is an imperative tool for Pastor’s to utilize in order to spread the Gospel and their sermons to users across the web. Whether members of a congregation are traveling, or someone is home sick and can’t make it to church on Sunday’s, there is no reason for anyone to miss the Word and the latest sermons from your church.

Sermon Companion makes it easier than ever to upload sermons to the net and feature them on your website. In fact, most sermons will upload within 5 minutes (depending on the file size) and you can frame your sermon player into your existing website so that listeners and viewers on your website can access your sermons online directly from your church website vs. being routed to a third party site.

Another neat feature with Sermon Companion is the user friendly platform for listeners world wide to gain access to Gospel messages and to help you SHARE them with other friends online. Listeners can download sermons for free, burn them to CDs, subscribe to your sermon feed and download your sermons in iTunes so that they can sync up your latest sermon audio or video to their iPods and other Apple devices. Listeners can also help you spread your sermons and the Gospel by publishing your sermons directly from your Sermon Companion player to social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, Wordpress/Typepad/Blogger blogs, Bebo and other social media outlets.

Many of the churches currently using Sermon Companion love the ability to archive and store their sermons online. Christian archiving is an important area that the church should not neglect. With Sermon Companion you can backup, store and upload an unlimited amount of audio and video sermons to your online sermon companion account. Frame your sermon player into your existing website

We often get the question from church administrators on how they can frame their Sermon Companion ‘audio player’ into their existing website. This is a really nice feature and a great way to enhance any church website.

Follow these two simple steps if you are looking to ’FRAME’ your Sermon Companion library within your church’s existing website:

The first step is to log into your Sermon Companion website, go to the Settings page, set the “Site Framed” value to “Yes” and click “Update”. This action takes away the header of Sermon Companion so that it won’t clash with your church’s website.

The second step will require the help of the administrator of your website. A webpage will need to be setup within your church’s website that makes use of the HTML IFRAME (Inline Frame) tag. This allows one website to display content that exists within another website. As an example, if the address to your Sermon Companion library is http://www.sermoncompanion.com/777, your church’s website would need a page that contains the code:

<iframe src="http://www.sermoncompanion.com/777" width="100%" scrolling="auto" frameborder="no" height="400px" />

Feel free to adjust the width and height of the iframe to suit the layout of your website. An example of a framed Sermon Companion library in action can be found here.
