We often get the question from church administrators on how they can frame their Sermon Companion ‘audio player’ into their existing website. This is a really nice feature and a great way to enhance any church website.

Follow these two simple steps if you are looking to ’FRAME’ your Sermon Companion library within your church’s existing website:

The first step is to log into your Sermon Companion website, go to the Settings page, set the “Site Framed” value to “Yes” and click “Update”. This action takes away the header of Sermon Companion so that it won’t clash with your church’s website.

The second step will require the help of the administrator of your website. A webpage will need to be setup within your church’s website that makes use of the HTML IFRAME (Inline Frame) tag. This allows one website to display content that exists within another website. As an example, if the address to your Sermon Companion library is http://www.sermoncompanion.com/777, your church’s website would need a page that contains the code:

<iframe src="http://www.sermoncompanion.com/777" width="100%" scrolling="auto" frameborder="no" height="400px" />

Feel free to adjust the width and height of the iframe to suit the layout of your website. An example of a framed Sermon Companion library in action can be found here.
